Keeping your skis or snowboard in perfect condition is fundamental in order to enjoy the snow safely. Well sharpened sides and a smooth, waxed base allow you to experience all the excitement with optimum sliding and secure grip.

Valdesquí makes it very easy for you:

Leave your ski or snowboard equipment in our repair workshop for our expert staff to fine tune them for you with the most modern Austrian machinery on the market. And whilst the full service is carried out, we will loan you replacement skis or a snowboard completely free of charge.

Another option is to leave us your equipment at the end of your day’s skiing and collect it 2 or more days later. With this option, you will benefit from a 10% discount.

Choose between various repair options:

  1. Cleaning of the bases with special solvents to remove remains of wax and impurities that prevent p-tex from forming a good bond.
  2. Filling of all gouges caused by impacts against stones via a layer of p-tex. Our machinery applies p-tex only where it is needed, entailing a lesser deterioration of the base.
  3. Repair of the base and tuning on the flat edge to improve handling of the skis or snowboard, and stone finishing, making micro-grooves which enable evacuation of the water produced by friction of the base with the snow, giving a better glide.
  4. Filing of the side and flat edge using a ceramic stone for precise filing and less wear of the side, leaving a clean filed edge. The edge can be filed at the angle you desire. The filed edges guarantee grip on compact and hard snow.
  5. Warm waxing of the base to prevent its dehydration and improve glide. Smoothing and waxing make for optimum glide.

Our repair workshop is located inside the equipment hire shop, in the Cerradillas building, situated to the left of the resort's main ticket office.
