FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

GENERAL

They open at 9.00 and close at 16.30 (last ride at 16.15).

In the café of the La Pausa building and in the picnic area situated on the first floor of the same building, with direct access from the terrace.

For safety reasons, access to the slopes is only permitted by customers with a day pass or season pass.

On bus number 691 departing from the Moncloa interchange (Larrea bus).

On the C2 Renfe train from Madrid to Cercedilla → Puerto de Cotos → free shuttle bus → Valdesquí.

The ski pass includes Compulsory Traveller’s Insurance but not insurance for accidents on the slopes. It is advisable to take out an insurance policy for accidents on the slopes before using the ski pass, at the ticket office of the resort itself. Valdesquí includes a free first aid and rescue service on the slopes.

For safety reasons, children under 8 years and/or below 130cm in height must be accompanied by an adult when using the ski lift.

For safety reasons, the use of sledges is not permitted in the resort.

You should go to the Customer Service department.

The overnight stay of caravans in the car park is not permitted.

At the moment we do not provide this service.

GROUPS

The group must be made up of a minimum of 20 people who come to the resort in group transport (hired bus). More information about groups

SCHOOL

From 8.30 until 15.00.

We advise wearing comfortable clothing and footwear, suitable for mountain weather. If you don’t have equipment or you need clothing and accessories, you will find everything you need at our hire shop. It is highly recommended that you book a lesson with one of our qualified instructors. Advice, behaviour and safety

Yes, they are taught during the high season from 13.00 to 15.00 and must be booked in person at the school between 9.00 and 12.00.

CAR PARK

On weekends, bank holidays and Wednesdays (Skier's day) with a good weather forecast, it’s easy for the car park to be full at 9.00, so it is worth arriving at the resort between 8.00 and 8.15. This recommendation is just an estimation, based on the experience of previous seasons. Remember that a large number of car parking spaces are reserved for customers who subscribe to the offer of FREE BOOKING OF SPACES. This free service allows you to enjoy Valdesquí at your pace, without needing to get up so early, and it's one of the most valued services among our customers.

When the weather is bad or unstable, the car park doesn’t always fill up.

On other weekdays, the car park doesn’t usually fill up, regardless of the weather forecast.

To find out the status of the car park (free spaces or full), it is worth checking our website and app, as well as our panoramic webcam which offers you a full view of the car park and updates regularly.

WEATHER

The weather is based on forecasts, it isn’t an exact science. At Valdesquí we check the forecasts from different weather services such as Meteored, Aemet and Meteoblue.

We don’t have any exclusive information other than that which can be checked by the general public.

In the section VALDESQUÍ TODAY you can check the overall weather for the day. The webcams also help a lot when you want to find out about the weather in the resort in real time.

CAFES

Yes, our cafés have various products suitable for celiacs. The café staff will provide all the information about this.

We have an allergens table for all the products we offer in our cafés, which can be checked whenever needed.

SKI PASSES

Large families can obtain a discount on the season ski pass. For day ski passes and afternoon ski passes, children enjoy reduced rates as well as very interesting offers.

The service FREE BUS TRANSFER MADRID -VALDESQUÍ and the offer BOOK YOUR PARKING SPACE FOR FREE are booked along with purchase of the full day ski passes online. The rest of the ski passes must be bought at the resort’s ticket office.

In the resort's ticket offices, you can buy two types of pass: full day and afternoon, the latter is for use between 12.30 and 16.30.

SEASON SKI PASS

Exceptionally, and on one occasion only, it will be replaced by a new one, following payment of 40 euros for replacement and administrative costs.

The full or partial cost of the season ski pass will not be returned under any circumstances, once the purchase has been made. The customer who buys the season ski pass knows these circumstances and accepts the conditions.

FULL DAY SKI PASS

It includes the use of all ski lifts that are running and the use of the slopes. The resort offers a free first aid and rescue service on the slopes.

Always visible on a zip - we advise you wear it on the zip of the trouser pocket.

In the control point at the access to the slopes you will find an explanatory poster of the steps to follow to attach the ski pass. In the event of queries, our access control staff will help customers to attach them properly.

AFTERNOON SKI PASS

It includes the use of all ski lifts that are running and the use of the slopes. The resort offers a free first aid and rescue service on the slopes.

Loss of the ski pass does not give you the right to a replacement.
